About Oli
Born and raised in Los Angeles, the diversity and color of my home metropolis have long been etched into my consciousness, forming and informing my creative sensibilities. My professional career began in this very city while attending Otis College of Art and Design, when I took on a job as a handbag designer. Here I sharpened my abilities in graphics and trend, and commencing my knowledge of the processes required for successful design. I later embarked on a mentorship under designer Jason Wu through Otis, which in turn led me to move to New York City to join his design team after graduating with my BFA. My time at Wu gave me the platform I needed to hone my technical skills while evolving my personal voice in design: one of distinct romance, intricacy and craftsmanship. My second stint in in competitively priced fashion started with Pacsun soon thereafter, where I was invited to develop and design a capsule collection of men's and women's sportswear and knits. This experience helped instill in me a strong commercial mindset, a critical skill for any designer. Currently, I serve as a tops and sweaters designer at Eloquii. In this role, I am continuously growing as a versatile designer, embracing new challenges and pushing my drive for modern, inclusive and accessible fashion.
